How can this be? Another giveaway??

So I knit. I would consider myself even to be a moderate knitter. I’m ok, but certainly not accomplished. My sister-in-law knit up a storm and now she has turned to crocheting. Her skills have taken off and her prolific crochet hook is moving faster now that I can even keep up. She says she can see a hat and then figure out how to make it. This blows my mind.

She’s begun to get requests for certain hats and certain toy foods.

And she has kindly crochet a toque that we get to giveaway on our blog here.

  1. I’d like to put this hat on our new baby boy when he arrives in February. His wee little head will be quite chilly after the warm and cozy uterus in which he has been living :)

  2. Sarah Jane would love this baby hat to put on a baby boy expected in February. It would also be a great way to promote your sis in law’s knitting !

    • That’s a posting full of inshgit!

    • Every year I look for a place to stay and celebrate our famliy reunion. First time in Anguilla. Beautiful island, great people we met. The villas are great, very cozy. Our whole famliy felt right at home. We loved the beaches and swam at 22 of them. Fishing was great, too. We visited the surrounding keys and enjoyed them, too. My little nieces enjoyed the beach most, just about every day.

I would love this precious hat for my best friend Erin’s little boy, who is due within the next 2 weeks! I love sock monkeys! My son’s nursery is a sock monkey theme (wish I could still squeeze his sweet little noggin into a newborn hat but alas, he’s almost 11 months now). :)

I love this little monkey! My 10th grandchild is due in January and as she will be living in Wet, windy Prince Rupert this little hat would be perfect to keep that little head warm

As a lover of all things hand crafted, this would make the perfect gift for my friends baby due in Feb! Who doesn’t love sock monkeys & newborns? If I can wrangle a kitten to be part of the gift, it would be a trifecta of cuteness!

  8. I want the hat for Emma. :0)

  9. My friend Zach and his wife have just had a bambina. I would love to see the look on my friend’s face if I was to give him this hat for his little girl. I think it would be a mixture of awkward uncertainty and cautious curiosity.
